This section includes tools that you can use to help you in designing missions and add-ons:
Half-Life Calculator: Calculates the different variables associated with half-life decay. Useful in finding out how long you have available energy from Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs).
Maximum Rotation Calculator: Calculates the fastest an object can rotate without breaking apart using its radius and mass.
MPC Database Viewer and Exporter: Allows you to import any known asteroid and dwarf planet into either Orbiter or Celestia. It automatically creates all the files necessary, and automatically adds the planet into your sol.cfg file, allowing you to instantly start Orbiter and go to the minor planet without having to edit any files.
Random Number Generator: Small utility used to create random numbers.
Rocket Equation Calculator: Calculates how much fuel you need for a given mass and ISP. Also calculates the delta-V you get from a particular empty weight and fuel weight.
Solar Panel Calculator: Calculates different aspects needed in figuring how big you need to make a solar panel/array, or how much energy you can get out of it, and how far out you can operate.
TEX to DDS Converter: Small utility program that converts Orbiter ".tex" files to ".dds"
X-Plane to Orbiter Airport Converter: Opens the apt.dat file from X-Plane (the file that contains the thousands of airports used in X-Plane), and converts any selected airport into a base config file usable by Orbiter
