STS-201

Mission Info

STS-201 was the first shuttle mission for the IOSS.  STS-201 was launched two days after the Russian Zarya module was launched into orbit aboard a Russian Proton rocket (I unfortunately didn't take any screenshots of this, as it was done before I decided to make a webpage for the project).  STS-201 carried two modules into orbit.  The first module was a docking adapter that was fitted to the aft end of Zarya, and then attached to that was the Soyuz/Progress Docking Module.  Unlike all other shuttle missions which last either 7 or 14 days, this mission only lasted 3, since it was done before I had made a proper mission schedule.
