Progress 5

Mission Info

Progress 5 was a re-supply mission to the IOSS.  Progress 5 was a more complicated mission then other Progress missions, as it had a number of relocations to allow for the use of the zenith docking port of the Soyuz/Progress docking module by manned Soyuz-TMA vehicles, which can take better advantage of the sunlit port on top of the module.  This mission also represented the last time that the Pirs module would be used for docking.
